In the 3rd match minute, Longchamps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Demesio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fire Serpent CDMX booed when Longchamps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wilfredo Perrando came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fire Serpent CDMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Perrando couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Perrando in the 20th minute. Ricardo Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Eduino in the 21st minute of the match. Longchamps's Ricardo Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Eduino in the 22nd minute of play. Leon Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Wilfredo Perrando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Naldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Leon Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Wilfredo Perrando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fire Serpent CDMX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Wilfredo Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fire Serpent CDMX's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Perrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Longchamps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Demesio to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Eduino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gualterio Eduino made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Wilfredo Perrando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Longchamps's Ricardo Naldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gualterio Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Demesio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Fire Serpent CDMX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Arnaldo Santana scored to the left of an out of position Uriel Orlondon, making the score, 3-1. 68 minutes into the game, Longchamps's Eulalio Vasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Orlondon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Gualterio Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire Serpent CDMX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Eduino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Fire Serpent CDMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Eduino struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ricardo Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Serpent CDMX. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eulalio Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longchamps's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Vasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Longchamps getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leon Guib hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Nestor Remicio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Naldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Eduino in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Naldo saved Longchamps from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fire Serpent CDMX fans cheered their team off the field, for while Longchamps had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
