Ramiro Inautzi's late challenge caught a Cadillal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Eduardo Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cadillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Lluis couldn't finish the play. If Humberto Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eduardo Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadillal's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Millano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Millano having to interfere. With a little luck, Cadillal's Teodoro Miro got control of the ball when Fabian Sanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Millano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Lluis in the 33rd minute of play. When Marcelo Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Angostura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Cedro couldn't finish the play. In the 38th match minute, Angostura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Sanson to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Berdoi was the one to do the kick off. Cadillal's Teodoro Miro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cedro in the 54th minute of play. The Angostura FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Angostura FC's Marcelo Cedro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ramiro Inautzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Miro having to make a save. If Aldo Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Angostura FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Sanson. Humberto Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Felix Millano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Angostura FC's Felix Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Oihan in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Oihan in the 91st minute of play forced Angostura FC's goalkeeper Felix Millano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Humberto Oihan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Millano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 95 played minutes Angostura FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Constancio. Eugenio Estefan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cadillal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
