Jairo Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Venancio Damario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Chaime was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Denis Peruxu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Augusto Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Tocol booed when Tulumaya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Tulumaya FC's goalkeeper Flavio Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Erasto. Gregorio Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Ladislao Remicio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Chaime. Tocol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Remicio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Tulumaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Cebrian in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Remicio in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Errando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Vidal. Tulumaya FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Damario was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Chaime made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Rodriguez in the 52nd minute. The tension between the Tulumaya FC and the Tocol players grew even worse after the yellow card. 75 minutes into the game, Alonzo Erasto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Flavio Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Elias Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, Tulumaya FC's Venancio Damario made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Chaime was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th match minute, Tulumaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Cebrian in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vidal saved Tulumaya FC from getting behind. A collision led to Tulumaya FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ricardo Urti hit a great ball. Tocol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Venancio Damario scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Chaime, making the score, 3-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tocol fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Jairo Chaime, was totally fooled by Tulumaya FC's Roque Montxo, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Tulumaya FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tulumaya FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
