Jacinto Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Manantiales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in JESMASIME's zone, Teodosio Boniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Gergori came out of the goal and Teodosio Boniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Manantiales's Leonel Eron got a free kick in the 26th minute. Manantiales's Ramon Olando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. Leonel Eron charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Eron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. The referee ignored JESMASIME's protests and gave Danilo Bilbo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manantiales booed when JESMASIME was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Boniel kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 96thth minute. Though ot was a great shot JESMASIME's keeper Cleto Gergori was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. JESMASIME succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Manantiales had controlled the match.
