During the 14th minute of the match Gustavo Gaskon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. In the 15th match minute, Durañona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Durañona FC's Emiliano Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Harkaitz's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Durañona FC's goalkeeper Carlos Sasoin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Vistruario. Hilario Hug hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Durañona FC's Filomeno Luix broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
