The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tormento Azul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lozada FC the free kick. 24 minutes into the game, Lozada FC's Feliberto Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Eneas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Feliberto Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lozada FC's Esteve Gorbea suffered a concussion in the 31st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Cirilo Kemen charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Kemen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tormento Azul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Lozada FC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabio Viviano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tormento Azul's Clemente Eneas. 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Astor Totakoxe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximino Eleazar, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Lauro in the 42nd minute of play forced Tormento Azul's goalkeeper Clemente Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Rafael Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lozada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Ebardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tormento Azul getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jairo Benvide hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Lauro in the 48th minute of play forced Tormento Azul's goalkeeper Clemente Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Astor Totakoxe made the kick off in the second half. Astor Totakoxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Eleazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute Astor Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Astor Totakoxe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Eleazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 79th play minutes Astor Totakoxe shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Maximino Eleazar and just under the crossbar into goal. Feliberto Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lozada FC's zone, Ovidio Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Eleazar came out of the goal and Ovidio Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tormento Azul's goalkeeper Clemente Eneas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Benvide struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Maximino Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tormento Azul.
