In the 7th match minute, xonotla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Santiago didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Penudos FC's Jacobo Ixaka shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 15th minute, Afonsinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Ixaka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Santiago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abel Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Nóbrega in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Penudos FC's Arsenio Cresenciano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Penudos FC's Jacobo Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. xonotla's Eloy Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Ixaka in the 31st minute of play. If Aureliano Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Penudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Ospin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Penudos FC's zone, Mateo Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Danel came out of the goal and Mateo Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. xonotla's Eloy Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save xonotla from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Penudos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave xonotla the free kick. After a rather tough play, Penudos FC's Roman Enaut got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Nóbrega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Abel Danel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobo Ixaka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Santiago having to make a save. Jacobo Ixaka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Eloy Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Ixaka in the 61st minute of the match. Penudos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacobo Ixaka in the 62nd minute. Pascual Artaldo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eloy Santiago, a very annoying self made goal in the 62nd minute which led to 3-1. Eloy Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Ixaka in the 67th minute of play. Eloy Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eloy Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Goiz in the 71st minute of the match. Honorio Kemen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Penudos FC's Abel Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Orlondon in the 77th minute of play. Eloy Santiago came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Penudos FC's Jacobo Ixaka. But to his dismay, Jacobo Ixaka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. xonotla's Teodosio Larra was substituted for Paulo Hanni. xonotla's Diego Cordarryl was substituted for Modesto Orlondon. Penudos FC's Jacobo Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Penudos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
