In the 5th minute of the match, Blas Urbasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eloy Santiago was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. xonotla's Modesto Orlondon got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonsinho Nóbrega in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Nesor saved Puerta from getting behind. If Afonsinho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. xonotla made a substitution. Omar Balendin replaced Miguel Aznar. Emanuel Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Mancio in the 31st minute of the match. Emanuel Nesor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonsinho Nóbrega went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Honorato Heli hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mateo Enmanuel scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Cloyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Puerta's goalkeeper Emanuel Nesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Nóbrega. Puerta's Emanuel Nesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Puerta from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Amadeo Herauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puerta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Fulgencio Mancio's late challenge caught a Puerta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Mancio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, xonotla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Mancio to maneuver through the defense. When Amadeo Herauso fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerta's protests and gave Amadeo Herauso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Amadeo Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Blas Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. xonotla's Eloy Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Firmo in the 73rd minute of play. If Blas Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Eloy Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Urbasa in the 81st minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Blas Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but xonotla's Eloy Santiago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blas Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Santiago having to interfere. Emanuel Nesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Nóbrega in the 91st minute. Eloy Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The xonotla supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing xonotla would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
