An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bidari in the 7th minute of play forced Cascada FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cascada FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fabricio Velasco hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Cascada FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Frichoso. If Luis Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Balendin in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Fernando Balendin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Luis Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Rufio in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Yapeyú's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Balendin came free, but Tobias Barea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yapeyú's goalkeeper Tobias Barea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Cascada FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Rufio was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Balendins short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Tobias Barea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute Cleto Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Luis Canor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Gorri. Cascada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Canor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jacinto Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Modesto Senon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tobias Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Frichoso in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gregorio Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cascada FC booed when Yapeyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Yapeyú's Tobias Barea got control of the ball when Fernando Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Yapeyú were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cascada FC for a fine match.
