The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Placido Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rolando Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Placido Paul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Díaz FC's Rolando Quilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Paul in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Quilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santo Perfecto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Rolando Quilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Quilo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Paul in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Popoy's Armando Jaunti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ospetsu in the 20th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Díaz FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Bortzaioriz. Cristo Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ospetsu in the 37th minute of the match. Rolando Quilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Paul in the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Claudio Onofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Ospetsu to make the kick off. Placido Paul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rolando Quilo made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Popoy got a freekick which was hit by Angel Behe. Armando Jaunti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Ospetsu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Cristo Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Quilo having to make a save. Placido Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Cristo Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Onofre charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Onofre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Díaz FC's Claudio Onofre got a free kick in the 84th minute.
