Daniel Hats who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Elia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elpidio Elia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Oihenarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Daniel Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Star Warriors FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Felix Reyes hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Talamuyana FC's Abelardo Hermon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Osasun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talamuyana FC reached it. Daniel Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Elia having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Moises Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 18 in the game by Daniel Hats from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Elia managed to make a qualified save. Talamuyana FC's players were relieved. Candido Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Honorato Argi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Osasun. Star Warriors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Argi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Star Warriors FC booed when Talamuyana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talamuyana FC's Elpidio Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Eutor in the 27th minute of play. Elpidio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Elpidio Elia was a little too slow when Adolfo Oihenarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Eutor in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Elia saved Talamuyana FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Adolfo Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Elia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Eutor made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Felix Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Quin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Elpidio Elia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Star Warriors FC. 76 minutes into the match, Talamuyana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Eutor came free, but Elpidio Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Daniel Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Oihenarte scored 6-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Elia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Romeo Raymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talamuyana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Star Warriors FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Talamuyana FC's Romeo Raymon got a free kick in the 88th minute. Candido Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Argi in the 91st minute of the match.
