Celaya San Juan del Rio's Clodoveo Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Pinto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Malvin saved Pueyrredón AFC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Celaya San Juan del Rio's goalkeeper Felix Cuartio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Pietro. Fausto Malvin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Pinto's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Fausto Malvin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Bermudo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Celaya San Juan del Rio booed when Pueyrredón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes, Elias Gauargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pueyrredón AFC and the Celaya San Juan del Rio players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Celaya San Juan del Rio booed when Pueyrredón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Gauargi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After having played for 51 minutes, Cipriano Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celaya San Juan del Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Geleberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes of play, Celaya San Juan del Rio's Clodoveo Pinto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Malvin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Pinto in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Malvin saved Pueyrredón AFC from getting behind. Sebastian Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pueyrredón AFC's Braulio Handi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Celaya San Juan del Rio. Felix Cuartio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Medardo in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Pinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Malvin. Clodoveo Pinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Fausto Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Celaya San Juan del Rio's Clodoveo Pinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Malvin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Clodoveo Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Celaya San Juan del Rio got a freekick which was hit by Justino Valentine. Felix Cuartio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Cipriano Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celaya San Juan del Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Geleberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Cilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fausto Malvin made a huge save. If Clodoveo Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Clodoveo Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Celaya San Juan del Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Pinto couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Prudencio Medardo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Celaya San Juan del Rio's Felix Cuartio. Felix Cuartio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celaya San Juan del Rio played a much better game than Pueyrredón AFC and deserved their victory. The Pueyrredón AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
