Fabian Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Quirze in the 17th minute of play. Danilo Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermegildo Castel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Iraunkor went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Eloy Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Saladas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Abaunza couldn't finish the play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Atilano Iraunkor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monteverde's Ermegildo Castel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Saladas's Atilano Iraunkor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Castel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Murillo having to interfere. Saladas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
