Timoteo Gaueko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. Hernan Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Sesuldo in the 30th minute of play. Narciso Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Goren having to interfere. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Sarracino was the one to do the kick off. If Felix Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Paternal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bouquet's performance. The match ended with a win for Bouquet.
