After a rather tough play, Catriel FC's Teo Otsoa got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Camilo Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Alfonso Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Peru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catriel FC's Alejandro Aureo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Federico Donostia hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Teo Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Erubiel Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Julio Jacindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Basajaun. SacaLasWamas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Jacindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 46th minute, Camilo Lohitzun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guaberto Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Erubiel Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leon Elivareo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SacaLasWamas FC's protests and gave Leon Elivareo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, SacaLasWamas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. Julio Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SacaLasWamas FC's Erubiel Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Lopez in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, SacaLasWamas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Lopez came free, but Erubiel Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Camilo Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Catriel FC's Guaberto Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Basajaun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 98th minute, Guaberto Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
