Arturo Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Tadzio charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Tadzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zanjón FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jacinto Tadzio hit a great ball. If Nestor Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Rolando Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Udalaitz scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Fix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zanjón FC's goalkeeper Arturo Aznar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Zanjón FC's goalkeeper Arturo Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Bizi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Udalaitz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casimiro Fix saved Rodeo from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Nestor Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Rodeo's Donato Semeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Aznar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Aznar having to interfere. Arturo Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Semeno in the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Donato Semeno from a close distance when the talented Arturo Aznar managed to make a qualified save. Zanjón FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Bizi got free with Arturo Aznar in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Rodeo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zanjón FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Udalaitz made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Rodeo got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Estebe. If Rolando Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zanjón FC's Rolando Udalaitz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Arturo Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Semeno in the 65th minute of play. Casimiro Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Oskitz got free with Casimiro Fix in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Oskitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casimiro Fix firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolando Udalaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casimiro Fix. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodeo's goalkeeper Casimiro Fix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Oskitzs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Casimiro Fix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nestor Oskitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Fix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Oskitz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Semeno in the 90th minute of play forced Zanjón FC's goalkeeper Arturo Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roberto Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Oskitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zanjón FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
