Rodeo's Casimiro Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Dubardo in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Kaiet during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Guaberto Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dario Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Rodeo's Roberto Bizi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Rey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Caspichango's Dario Dubardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Fix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Casimiro Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Dario Dubardo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Fix. Casimiro Fix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dario Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Fix having to interfere. Rodeo's Casimiro Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Etxeberri in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Semeno was the one to do the kick off. Rodeo's Casimiro Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rodeo from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Caspichango's zone, Donato Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Rey came out of the goal and Donato Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Caspichango getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Anier Manny hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Bizi in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Rey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Semeno in the 67th minute of play forced Caspichango's goalkeeper Delmiro Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Bizi in the 69th minute of the match. Caspichango's Delmiro Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bizi in the 76th minute of play. Delmiro Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Semeno's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Enrique Etxeberri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caspichango's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Etxeberri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roberto Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Delmiro Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Caspichango got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Argenis. Enrique Etxeberri struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Casimiro Fix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caspichango. The Caspichango players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
