Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Justo Ixona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Barrialito AFC defense, Aquiles Erroman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Incendio. The Barrialito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Incendio should have stopped the shot. If Florencio Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baldomiro Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Barrialito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Valentine couldn't finish the play. After 31st play minutes Severino Shepherd shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Justo Ixona and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Laferrere's zone, Severino Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Ixona came out of the goal and Severino Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Florencio Sagrario tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Incendio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ciro Ponce hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Laferrere's Justo Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Valentine in the 39th minute of play. Florencio Sagrario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Incendio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Laferrere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Valentine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Severino Shepherd, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Justo Ixona was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aquiles Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Shepherd scored 2-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Ixona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Laferrere's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Valentine came free, but Justo Ixona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Valentine in the 74th minute of play. Florencio Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severino Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Barrialito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Shepherd couldn't finish the play. Florencio Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Incendio having to interfere. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tomás Lluterio hit a great ball.
