Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Padilla AFC's Mauricio Beturian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Amancio Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Padilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Koldo couldn't finish the play. Abel Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Parish's Ramon Naldo got a free kick in the 18th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Padilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Hodei came free, but Isaias Uxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Beturian in the 29th minute of play. Isaias Uxio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eliseo Platon. A collision led to Padilla AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ciriaco Frascuelo hit a great ball. When Ramon Naldo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parish's protests and gave Ramon Naldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Ramon Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Amancio Koldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Amancio Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Hodei to make the kick off. With his leg Abel Selatse managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Padilla AFC's Amancio Koldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th match minute, Parish was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Naldo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Beturian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Selatse was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When Amancio Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Padilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Parish's Ramon Naldo got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Padilla AFC's Baldomero Luzaide broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Abel Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Tomás Hodei struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Isaias Uxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parish. 94 minutes into the match, Parish's Tomás Hodei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Uxio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Isaias Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Padilla AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Padilla AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
