Bernabe Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Remigio Erlantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Erlantz having to interfere. With 23 minutes on the clock, Prudencio Mergildo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Brinkman a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prospero Maties, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coraceros's Remigio Erlantz. 1-1. Coraceros's Damaso Fertus suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 29th match minute, Brinkman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Policarpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Erlantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Coraceros got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Quirze. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Policarpio in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Erlantz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Bernabe Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Policarpio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Coraceros getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eloy Cugat hit a great ball. Remigio Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bernabe Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinkman's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. From close distance Faustino Bide pressed in the 1-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 66 minutes into the game. Bernabe Policarpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Erlantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Remigio Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Policarpio in the 82nd minute of play. Bernabe Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brinkman had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
