The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Elazar got free with Santos Filipo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Matilde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Txordon came free, but Celedonio Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Teofilo Guillelmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real apan FC's Santos Filipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Guillelmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Santos Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Matilde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Txordon came free, but Celedonio Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Llorienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Guillelmo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Filipo saved Real apan FC from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Raul Txordon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celedonio Ulizes, passed just outside the right post. After 82 minutes of play, Matilde FC's Ciriaco Elazar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Filipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Real apan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Oro came free, but Santos Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Santos Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Real apan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Guillelmo came free, but Santos Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matilde FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
