Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teofilo Guillelmo got the match started through his kick off. If Arsenio Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Filomeno Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Teofilo Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, CHETUMAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Elazar came free, but Constantino Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Matilde FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gregorio Oro hit a great ball. Emanuel Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Matilde FC's Emanuel Iyan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Celedonio Ulizes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodrigo Gai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Matilde FC's Celedonio Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Gai in the 33rd minute of play. Arsenio Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Ulizes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CHETUMAL FC's zone, Teofilo Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Karmel came out of the goal and Teofilo Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Karmel having to interfere. Arsenio Cai took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Ulizes. Celedonio Ulizes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Gai made a kick off. Fausto Calisto's late challenge caught a Matilde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Calisto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, CHETUMAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Calisto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CHETUMAL FC defense, Ciriaco Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Karmel. The CHETUMAL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Karmel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 60 minutes, Ciriaco Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matilde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CHETUMAL FC's Filomeno Ibon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rodrigo Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Matilde FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Siro Mosen hit a great ball. Rodrigo Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Ulizes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, CHETUMAL FC's Tadeo Martxelin got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a little luck, CHETUMAL FC's Constantino Karmel got control of the ball when Tobias Llin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Guillelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Teofilo Guillelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Mosen in the 83rd minute. 3-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Arsenio Cai elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CHETUMAL FC's Mario Salvator got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, CHETUMAL FC's goalkeeper Constantino Karmel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Elazar. Teofilo Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CHETUMAL FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matilde FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
