Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Estevez started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Fidele might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Vedillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Fidele ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Puiggari FC's Ulises Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Vedillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Fidele in the 16th minute of play forced Curarú AFC's goalkeeper Eustacio Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Estevez in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Curarú AFC defense, Ulises Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Vedillo. The Curarú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Vedillo should have stopped the shot. Curarú AFC's Feliberto Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Milian hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Ulises Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Ulises Estevez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puiggari FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Nel to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Perico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cipriano Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute, Siro Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Danilo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curarú AFC's Eustacio Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Curarú AFC from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Curarú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Formerio. Julio Gelacio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Curarú AFC's Eustacio Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Curarú AFC from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Silvano Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Ramos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Nel in the 88th minute of play forced Puiggari FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Silvano Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curarú AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cipriano Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Nel took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Ramos. Cipriano Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Puiggari FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
