The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Fabio Lorien recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Firme. Fabio Lorien showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Evelio Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Firme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Lorien's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Fabio Lorien took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Evelio Firme to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th match minute, Egusquiza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Iaki to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Egusquiza FC's Adriana Tibalt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Firme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Evelio Firme made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rodolfo Muno sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Evelio Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Rodolfo Muno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fabio Lorien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evelio Firme was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Fabio Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Firme having to interfere. Rodolfo Muno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Evelio Firme made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Rodolfo Muno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egusquiza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Lorien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cipriano Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eulalio Christobal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Muno struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Evelio Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egusquiza FC. 63 minutes into the match, Futbol Club FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Tibalt came free, but Evelio Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
