Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Cuartio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorio Asur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Prudencio Mon made a huge save. Aguiluchos FC's Prudencio Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Cuartio in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Aguiluchos FC's Eustaquio Eztebe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eustaquio Eztebe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aguiluchos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eustaquio Eztebe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, one of Aguiluchos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguiluchos FC. The referee gave Fauzón FC a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Ramirez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aguiluchos FC's Prudencio Mon. 1-0. If Guido Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Asur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Mon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Cuartio in the 45th minute of play forced Aguiluchos FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Fauzón FC's Victorio Asur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Mon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Cuartio to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Aguiluchos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Uxio. After 62 minutes of play, Fauzón FC's Victorio Asur made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fulgencio Caetano fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauzón FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. Fulgencio Caetano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fauzón FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Abelardo Vincent hit a great ball. Prudencio Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Uxio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fauzón FC booed when Aguiluchos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Cuartio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Mon saved Aguiluchos FC from getting behind. When Celestino Admon came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Aguiluchos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Admon couldn't finish the play. Victorio Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Prudencio Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Cuartio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
