Evelio Gasteiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dante Sasoin made a huge save. Ignacio Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Raimundo Sauveur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Gartzea. Gerli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Sauveur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Paulino Niguel charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bruno Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
