In the 6thth minute of the game Ceferino Rayman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avellaneda AFC's Antonio Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Eliazar in the 15th minute of play forced Avellaneda AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ceferino Rayman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibáñez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Antonio Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Eliazar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Marin saved Avellaneda AFC from getting behind. In the 37th minute Ceferino Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Rayman in the 38th minute of play forced Avellaneda AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Marin having to interfere. Leonel Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Ibáñez were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Eliazar to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibáñez's Jorge Eliazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antonio Marin. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. Clodoveo Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Sayvion in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Avellaneda AFC's Rodolfo Sayvion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Frederik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Avellaneda AFC's Antonio Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Avellaneda AFC from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Avellaneda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Eliazar came free, but Antonio Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Ildefonso Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ibáñez's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
