Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florencio Orzaize made the kick off which started today's match. Celestino Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rigoberto Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Maciel FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Mateo. If Godfredo Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cavour booed when Maciel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Godfredo Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Joey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Celestino Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Maciel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Cristofor came free, but Rigoberto Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Maciel FC defense, Celestino Cristofor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Iztal. The Maciel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Iztal should have stopped the shot. Enrique Dalmau scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Estebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tadeo Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Cristofor was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Iztal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Cristofor went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Maciel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Cristofor came free, but Rigoberto Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cavour's zone, Enrique Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Estebe came out of the goal and Enrique Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Orzaize in the 73rd minute of play forced Cavour's goalkeeper Tadeo Estebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Godfredo Joey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rigoberto Iztal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Estebe came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maciel FC's Enrique Dalmau. But to his dismay, Enrique Dalmau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Celestino Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godfredo Joey came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cavour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Joey couldn't finish the play.
