After having played for 3 minutes, Benjamin Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Unax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Jusepe in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Machado saved Calva from getting behind. Marciano Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alonzo Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alonzo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Eate in the 11th minute of play. Benjamin Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benigno Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robles AFC's Benjamin Unax got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Jusepe charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Jusepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Benjamin Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Jusepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Rigoberto Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Marciano Eate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alonzo Ferdinand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonzo Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Calva were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Jusepe to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Cruz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benjamin Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marciano Eate came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Calva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Eate couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Eate in the 80th minute of play forced Robles AFC's goalkeeper Alonzo Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Garcia struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alonzo Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calva. Benjamin Unax might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Unax ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruben Jusepe might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Machado. Rigoberto Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alonzo Ferdinand made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calva walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
