Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Everardo Cordeiro kicked off to start the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Casimiro Ferran put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Sarmiento FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Margarita:s goal. Paolo Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fermin Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adriana Espiridion fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento FC's protests and gave Adriana Espiridion a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sarmiento FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adriana Espiridion hit a great ball. Saul Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Jaunzuria during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Merexildo got free with Fermin Enmanuel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Merexildo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fermin Enmanuel. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Paolo Merexildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento FC the free kick. A collision led to Margarita getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Paolo Merexildo hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Margarita's goalkeeper Lino Guillen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Guillen having to interfere. Everardo Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sarmiento FC's Zacarias Gomesano tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paolo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Merexildo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute of the match, Saul Dorio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lino Guillen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Fermin Enmanuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Paolo Merexildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 73 minutes into the match, Sarmiento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Merexildo came free, but Fermin Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Enmanuel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Merexildo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Lino Guillen made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Saul Dorio sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Adriana Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriana Espiridion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Guillen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Saul Dorio sent off a good shot on target. Saul Dorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Lino Guillen made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Lázaro Feliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento FC and the Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fermin Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Enmanuel having to interfere. Margarita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
