The tension between the Margarita and the Sarmiento AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Margarita booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Pere to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Eriberto Bastian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Guillen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Agustin Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Jacob to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Felipillo came free, but Lino Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Lizar made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ismael Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Ismael Diagur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Margarita's Lino Guillen. Lino Guillen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Ismael Diagur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Miguel Jaunzuria didn't quite understand what happened when in the 63 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Everardo Lizar might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Hodei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Lizar ran back to his position shaking his head. Sarmiento AFC's Isaias Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Merexildo in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ismael Diagur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Agustin Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Agustin Felipillo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paolo Merexildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Hodei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Isaias Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Merexildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Paolo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Everardo Lizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sarmiento AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
