Maciá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Frutos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Maciá AFC's Edgardo Bertin tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Adolfo Celio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 78 minutes into the match, Maciá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Geofredo came free, but Elvio Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Geofredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Elivareo having to make a save. Elvio Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
