Atlante!'s Marco Osoitz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Camerino in the 10th minute of play forced Atlante!'s goalkeeper Marco Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Eneto in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Atlante!'s goal looked a bit too open when Celso Camerino came free, but Marco Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Braulio Timo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Machado. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Atlante! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Marco Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Eneko in the 25th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Estomba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Atarratze came free, but Benjamin Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Eneto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Severiano Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlante!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Osoitz having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Celso Camerino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlante!'s Marco Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Atlante! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Timo to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Machado having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Camerino was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Estomba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Atarratze came free, but Benjamin Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Lucio Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estomba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlante! the free kick. 57 minutes into the game, one of Estomba FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Estomba FC's Celso Camerino got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlante!'s Marco Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Camerino in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlante!'s zone, Anibal Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Osoitz came out of the goal and Anibal Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Ricart hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Celso Camerino came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Estomba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Camerino couldn't finish the play. Marco Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Camerino in the 81st minute of play. Federico Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Astor Florian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Marco Osoitz made a huge save. The supporters of Atlante! booed when Estomba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Eneko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Anibal Eneko notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Atlante!'s Marco Osoitz. Marco Osoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th match minute, Atlante! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Atlante!'s Fidel Estefan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fidel Estefan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlante! protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fidel Estefan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlante! fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! Estomba FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
