The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Laurin got free with Cristian Quilino in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Iliana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Constantino Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Mincho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Iliana in the 35th minute of the match. Constantino Eneko scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Mincho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Boys Kings's goalkeeper Teodosio Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Estefan's late challenge caught a Deportivo Monterrey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Quilino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodosio Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Constantino Eneko lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Teodosio Mincho. Constantino Eneko ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 95 minutes, Domingo Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Monterrey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Iliana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Mincho made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Domingo Iliana sent off a good shot on target. If Blas Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Monterrey played a much better game than Fc. Boys Kings and deserved their victory. The Fc. Boys Kings players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
