Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiberto Ezkerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emiliano Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Benigno Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Geronimo Orlondo hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Blas Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cafetaleros de Tapachula's Nunez Bibiano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Bibiano came free, but Sergio Aimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Benigno Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Filiberto Ezkerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinchera FC and the Cafetaleros de Tapachula players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nunez Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sergio Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filiberto Ezkerra came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Trinchera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Ezkerra couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Orlondo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cafetaleros de Tapachula's Robustiano Nataniel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trinchera FC. If Emiliano Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, one of Cafetaleros de Tapachula:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cafetaleros de Tapachula. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Trinchera FC. Geronimo Orlondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Dolcet. 1-0. When Emiliano Luke came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Trinchera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Luke couldn't finish the play. Benigno Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Ezkerra in the 49th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Cafetaleros de Tapachula's David Irrintzi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Emiliano Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Genaro Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Aimar having to interfere. Diego Pepillo's late challenge caught a Cafetaleros de Tapachula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Pepillo helped the player get up and apologised. 69 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Sergio Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Bibiano. Nunez Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Aimar having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Cafetaleros de Tapachula's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Luke came free, but Benigno Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's Filiberto Ezkerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Dolcet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Cafetaleros de Tapachula's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Luke came free, but Benigno Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Ezkerra in the 83rd minute of play forced Cafetaleros de Tapachula's goalkeeper Benigno Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Ezkerra took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Dolcet. Benigno Dolcet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Trinchera FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
