In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monster's goalkeeper Silvano Gaueko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cochequingán booed when Monster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Norberto Urki came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cochequingán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Urki couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Maximino Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cochequingán booed when Monster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Norberto Urki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Felo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Monster's goalkeeper Silvano Gaueko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Atarrabi. Maximino Truylos's late challenge caught a Cochequingán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Truylos helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Truylos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Cochequingán's Joaquin Atarrabi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvano Gaueko. Silvano Gaueko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Cochequingán's Norberto Urki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Gaueko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Monster's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Urki came free, but Silvano Gaueko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Benet made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Alvaro Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Felo having to interfere. If Alvaro Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Alvaro Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Richie hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monster! The referee gave Cochequingán a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauricio Joanes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monster's Silvano Gaueko. 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, Cochequingán's goalkeeper Benjamin Felo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Etor. Silvano Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cochequingán fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Cochequingán's Joaquin Atarrabi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monster players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cochequingán.
