Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Alvariño's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Obano came free, but Dionisio Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Severiano Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Alvariño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Gartzen couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Froylan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Argenis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Argenis having to interfere. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Severiano Gartzen sped through Federal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Argenis. Severiano Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alvariño! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Federal FC's Israel Loramendi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dionisio Herauso. After 28 played minutes Federal FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Jacindo. In the 35th minute, Cirilo Obano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alvariño's Dionisio Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Alvariño from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Obano to make the kick off. Dionisio Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Alvariño booed when Federal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federal FC's Ricardo Argenis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Federal FC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Alvariño's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Matxin came free, but Dionisio Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Federal FC booed when Alvariño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Israel Loramendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Herauso skillfully saved the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cirilo Obano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvariño's Dionisio Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Alvariño's Octavio Froylan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alvariño eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
