Ricardo Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Federal FC's zone, Erubiel Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Argenis came out of the goal and Erubiel Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Domingos Cidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Federal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Dragons F.C the free kick. Arnulfo Lorien hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Iker Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Black Dragons F.C's Aurelio Chesus in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Federal FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dario Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Dragons F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Karlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Argenis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Obano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Federal FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Argenis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Federal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Argenis should have stopped the shot. Black Dragons F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
