Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Laureano Rios started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 11 minutes, Alejandro Nastasio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabalonga and the Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Eguntsenti made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Faustino Licerio sent off a good shot on target. Cabalonga were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Concepción's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Honrio took the corner. The corner ended in Rolando Honrio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Concepción's Mauro Eguntsenti did a great save. Americo Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concepción's Mauro Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Rios in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Concepción's Mauro Eguntsenti got control of the ball when Faustino Licerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Laureano Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Eguntsenti was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Cordarryl to make the kick off. Efrain Presebal came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Concepción's Teodoro Perfecto. But to his dismay, Teodoro Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Rios in the 58th minute of play forced Concepción's goalkeeper Mauro Eguntsenti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Cordarryl in the 59th minute of the match. Freddy Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Efrain Presebal made a huge save. Mauro Eguntsenti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Faustino Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cabalonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Licerio couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Perfectos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Efrain Presebal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Concepción's Efrain Presebal threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Americo Cordarryl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Teodoro Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
