Felix Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Horacio Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelino Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Basilio Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorados de Sinaloa's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Urki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Urki having to interfere. Herminio Cutberto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lugones FC's Gogo Herena got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Angelino Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Gagriel in the 79th minute of play forced Dorados de Sinaloa's goalkeeper Horacio Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Angelino Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Gagriel in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Demesio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lugones FC had won after a very even match.
