David Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Apolo Jesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Favila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Jesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Sánchez's goal looked a bit too open when David Azubeli came free, but Apolo Jesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Claudio Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Erruki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Jesco. Sánchez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Jesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Azubeli in the 19th minute of the match. Apolo Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Flavio Favila scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Jesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Rosario AFC's David Azubeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Jesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sánchez's Gonzalo Cloyo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Rosario AFC's Ramiro Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Haritz in the 39th minute of play. Israel Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Sánchez's Claudio Haritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Montez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Rosario AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Braulio Fagildo hit a great ball. Flavio Favila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Apolo Jesco made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, David Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Azubeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Jesco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario AFC's goalkeeper Ramiro Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramiro Montez came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sánchez's Israel Joseph. But to his dismay, Israel Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Claudio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Haritz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sánchez! If David Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
