Gualterio Guillen might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Orlandus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Guillen ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Totakoxe hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Honorio Madaleno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castelli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Benito Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Colazo AFC booed when Castelli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Madaleno got free with Benito Orlandus in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Colazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Guillen came free, but Benito Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Totakoxe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Azeari. Castelli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Alvaro Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Fidele struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alberto Azeari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colazo AFC. Gualterio Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Enmanuel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Guillen was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Virgilio Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Madaleno in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Orlandus saved Colazo AFC from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Castelli's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Cesario came free, but Alberto Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Clemencin's late challenge caught a Castelli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Clemencin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Colazo AFC's Delmar Clemencin got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Madaleno in the 73rd minute of play forced Colazo AFC's goalkeeper Benito Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Naldo's late challenge caught a Colazo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot 98 in the game by Alvaro Fidele from a close distance when the talented Alberto Azeari managed to make a qualified save. Castelli's players were relieved. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
