In the 2nd minute of the match Conrado Cebrian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blas Maore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zeledon Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hermengildo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Candido Macerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Calchín's Candido Macerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Prejun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Iago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of diablos azules's Victorio Prejun. Victorio Prejun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Macerio in the 36th minute of play forced diablos azules's goalkeeper Victorio Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Zeledon Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Candido Macerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calchín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Victorio Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Maore having to interfere. Zeledon Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Blas Maore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Macerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Victorio Prejun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to diablos azules getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cosme Gorri hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Candido Macerio made a precise shot to the right of Victorio Prejun. diablos azules's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Hermengildo Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Victorio Prejun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, diablos azules's Victorio Prejun got control of the ball when Candido Macerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Cosme Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Candido Macerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candido Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hermengildo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Calchín had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
