Nicasio Savion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Benicio Celipe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Uriel Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Chumo in the 45th minute of the match. Nicasio Savion scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Celipe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
