The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Caradaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Estevon was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Cleto Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Senin having to interfere. Cleto Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lafinur booed when Anizacate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anizacate AFC's Pedro Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Piarres in the 22nd minute of play. Jonathan Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Ildefonso Piarres came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lafinur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Piarres couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Caradaro to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Rodrigo Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Anizacate AFC booed when Lafinur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Montez in the 67th minute of the match. Cleto Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jonathan Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Montez in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Senin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ildefonso Piarres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 75 minute of play. Cleto Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Senin having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Anizacate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Mancio. Lafinur were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Anizacate AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugenio Bidun took the corner. Lafinur's Eugenio Bidun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Senin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cleto Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
