Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Ostadar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eustacio Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Isidoro Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute Eustacio Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eustacio Frasco fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nihuil AFC's protests and gave Eustacio Frasco a yellow card for diving instead. Eustacio Frasco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Thames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Oton to maneuver through the defense. Blas Ekaitz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Nihuil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Ostadar in the 22nd minute of play. David Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Ourente having to interfere. Emilio Balesio charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Balesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nihuil AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emilio Balesio hit a great ball. Thames FC's Raul Ostadar got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustacio Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Jordy in the 36th minute. David Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Ekaitz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, one of Nihuil AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nihuil AFC. Aristides Ourente had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Aristides Remicio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Jordy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Nihuil AFC's goalkeeper Aristides Ourente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Lobo. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, David Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Thames FC's David Lobo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Ourente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Ourente having to interfere. Aristides Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Nihuil AFC's Aristides Ourente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Nihuil AFC from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Eulalio Jordy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Santana. Thames FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Jordy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If David Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Jordy in the 85th minute of play forced Thames FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Santana came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Nihuil AFC's Eulalio Jordy. But to his dismay, Eulalio Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nihuil AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thames FC for a fine match.
