In the 38th minute, Hermengildo Abeijon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Sixto Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Serrezuela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Abeijon came free, but Fabian Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Herminio Ramond fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lafontaine's protests and gave Herminio Ramond a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lafontaine's Herminio Ramond got a free kick in the 79th minute. Raimundo Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Hever in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Fresco saved Serrezuela FC from getting behind. Gaudencio Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Herminio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Lafontaine got a freekick which was hit by Placido Berto. With his leg Herminio Laurin managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Serrezuela FC's Sixto Emesto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lafontaine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Serrezuela FC for a fine match.
