Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Esquina AFC's Simon Goizeder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute of the match Sumampa FC got a corner. Esquina AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonas Niguel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sumampa FC's corner Jonas Niguel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnaldo Iban quite easily take care of the ball. Martin Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sumampa FC's Guido Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Marko in the 14th minute of play. Aureliano Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Iban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Arnaldo Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Esquina AFC's Esteban Marko in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumampa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guido Luken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Marko's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Esquina AFC's Simon Goizeder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Luken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Simon Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Luken having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aureliano Roano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumampa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Roano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Casado was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Esquina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Petri. A collision led to Sumampa FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Raul Ortzi hit a great ball. Aureliano Roano took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Iban. Arnaldo Iban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 67th minute, Esquina AFC's Simon Goizeder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guido Luken. Guido Luken yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Aureliano Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arnaldo Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Goizeder in the 86th minute of play. Hector Petri hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Jonas Niguel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Iban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desiderio Sesuldo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Sesuldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Luken having to interfere. Sumampa FC's Guido Luken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Sumampa FC from getting a goal against them.
