Leonides Gilesindo started the match with the kick off. If Leonides Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Manex stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Urtungo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Honorio Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Herensuge, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of GRUNGE FC booed when Varela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, GRUNGE FC's Generoso Sansone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Honorio Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Urtungo in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GRUNGE FC's Victorino Jerrold got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Herensuge in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Manex saved GRUNGE FC from getting behind. Honorio Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Herensuge in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Gilesindo in the 30th minute of play forced Varela AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GRUNGE FC booed when Varela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Manex having to interfere. Silvestre Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Anastasio Romelio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Herensuge made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Urtungo got free with Honorio Manex in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Varela AFC's Modesto Barto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Honorio Manex but with some difficulty. Celestino Urtungo might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Manex. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Urtungo ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Guib hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Ariel Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Blai might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Esdras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Blai ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvestre Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Modesto Barto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonides Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Varela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Gilesindo came free, but Silvestre Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Silvestre Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anastasio Romelio fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varela AFC's protests and gave Anastasio Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GRUNGE FC booed when Varela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
