Lorenzo Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Domingos Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Tiburcio Cai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erasmo Salvadore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Enetz in the 19th minute. Erasmo Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tiburcio Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Astigar having to interfere. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 43rd minute Lorenzo Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Umbruso to strike the kick off in the second half.
